- Password: at least 12 characters. A long phrase is easier to remember than a complicated word.
- Two-step login: scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy). Each sign-in then also asks for a 6-digit code. Save the recovery codes somewhere safe — they let you in if you lose your phone.
- Signed-in devices: sign out all other devices if you used a shared computer.
